Dog Obedience TrainingBasic Obedience - This class is for dogs at least 14 wks old or older. We will focus on basic dog obedience skills. We will learn sit, down, stand, stay, heeling and to come when called. We will also learn how to maintain our dogs attention while exposed to the distractions of a group class. Basic obedience is more than learning commands, as such, we will also learn about basic canine behavior and safety. We will cover real world situations and how to handle them with confidence. This class also includes testing for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program.
 
Beyond Basic Obedience- This is an intermediate level class and will focus on obtaining an AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate. We will learn to pass the 10 items included in the CGC as well as the beginnings of competition obedience. Including but not limited to increased distraction and Rally Obedience.

Competion Style Obedience-   This class will prepare students to compete in AKC events.  We will focus on Rally Obedience and will cover all levels. We will also cover Novice excersizes as well. This class is geared towards fun for the serious and not so serious competitor.

STAR Puppy - This puppies only class will earn your dog the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Award. This is a 6 week course that will help your puppy learn to be a good citizen. This class will also teach you how to keep your dog safe, exersized and healthy. Your puppy will learn how to sit, down, stand, stay come when called and walk on a leash.  Star Puppy Class is a great way to socialize your puppy with other puppies in a controled and safe enviornment. This class is taught only at Cocoa Veterinary Hospital and Port St John Veterinary Hospital.
