Kovacs Dog Training Positive Training for Positive Results

Basic Obedience - This class is for dogs at least 14 wks old or older. We will focus on basic dog obedience skills. We will learn sit, down, stand, stay, heeling and to come when called. We will also learn how to maintain our dogs attention while exposed to the distractions of a group class. Basic obedience is more than learning commands, as such, we will also learn about basic canine behavior and safety. We will cover real world situations and how to handle them with confidence.

 

Beyond Basic Obedience- This is an intermediate level class and will focus on obtaining an AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate. We will learn to pass the 10 items included in the CGC as well as the beginnings of competition obedience. Including but not limited to increased distraction and Rally Obedience.
